A series of six short frame-by-frame animations teasing the different ways Apple Rubber has found sealing solutions for their customer’s with their unique challenges. Videos drove traffic to each case study on Apple Rubber’s website.
“Investigating Fowl Play” – Chickens on several farms were not drinking enough water due to a malfunctioning seal in their feeders. These underweight and underdeveloped chickens were creating a costly situation for both the chicken farmers and the equipment manufacturer who had guaranteed the feeders and already sold millions around the world.
“Getting to the Root of It” – A company set out to develop an innovative syringe for adding nutrients and pesticides to trees as a more environmentally-friendly alternative to harmful chemical spraying. One small problem – the syringe leaked when operated.
“Lightning Speed” – One of Apple Rubber’s clients needed help waterproofing a surge protector that protects the lines inside a home from high voltage if lightning strikes outside.
“Multi-Cav Tooling” – When an Apple Rubber customer came to them with a standard o-ring design for development, their engineers had to find a way to duplicate it.
“Bad Brew” – A brewery noticed that their beers started to taste different. After troubleshooting the problem they realized it was the type of o-rings they were using. They reached out to Apple rubber for a solution.
“Polymer Performance” – When temperatures drop, material selection for o-rings becomes incredibly important.
